Northern Ballet approached us to produce a series of Digital 6 sheets to be displayed in the Trinity Leeds and the Crucible Sheffield in the run up to their impressive performance of Cleopatra. They already had a print campaign running but wanted to bring the ads to live in a digital format. They also wanted to run the same concepts across digital display adverts on several national newspaper websites to drive traffic to the site and ultimately increase ticket sales.
Working from only still imagery we decided to use a very subtle parallax effect which kept the dancers centre stage and then created a sense of movement by slowly panning across and animating the flowers in the foreground and background of the scene. The end result was an eye catching piece of video which stood out amongst the rest of the adverts displayed.
