Role

This role is a combination of Senior Digital Project Manager / Account Manager

You will work on the scoping and production of varied interactive projects such as websites, HTML emails, online creative media and technical solutions such as bespoke Content Management Systems.

You will be developing proposals and recommendations, there will be extensive client liaison and you will work closely with the creative and technical teams.

The main focus of the role will be to build and develop client relationships as well as the project management and delivery of a wide spanning portfolio of digital marketing projects. You will be responsible for the instigation, planning, tracking and overall delivery of allocated projects including the testing and delivery process.

Excellent communication and presentation skills are important.

 

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Establish a solid and trusted relationship with key clients at all levels
  • Understand the client’s business and their core objectives
  • Attend strategy and planning meetings both internally and with clients
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Ownership for the creation and accuracy of the master timing plan, scope and delivery of relevant projects
  • Identify resources needed and ensure that the time is scheduled accurately in the Studio.
  • Review deliverables prepared in conjunction with the team before passing to the client.
  • Highlight, manage and report risks on projects.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately on the server.
  • Check that all aspects of project delivery match the project scope (e.g. checking work from Studio before sending it to the client)
  • Build a knowledge base of each client’s projects, technical platforms and legacy projects
  • Collation of task lists for studio members including on-going checking of progress and communication of next phases/ stages
  • Report key project status/ milestones/ actions or studio deliverables to the account handler or client on each appropriate project/ client

 

Reporting

  • Manage projects through internal systems from estimating through to invoicing
  • Monitor and report on project profitability
  • Understand and monitor target number of hours/income per hour for each Client
  • Put together management information including forecasts and monthly billing

 

Person Specification

  • Understanding of digital marketing, web design and development
  • Be passionate and have a solid understanding of the digital space
  • Talk confidently to Clients about their business and digital requirements
  • Have a hands on approach to Project Management
  • Have experience of managing budgets, profitability and invoicing
  • Be able to manage and deliver multiple projects at once
